Orchardz Hotel Pontianak, a 3 stars hotel with 148 room and 1 coffee shop located in strategic location at the heart of Pontianak City Looking For qualified dynamic candidate with relevant & Skill experiences for the following position :

Laundry Manager
(Pontianak, Kalimantan Barat-Indonesia)

Responsibilities:

• Plans work and assigns workers to various operations in the laundry.
• Makes inspections for work progress and quality, and shifts personnel in secure continuous and even flow of work
• Supervises the preparation of, or individually prepares, solutions used in laundering and sterilizing fabrics.
• Reviews work methods and procedures and develops new methods to improve the quality of service given.
• Keeps time and leave reports, interviews and hires or recommends the hiring of employees, and dismisses or recommends the dismissal of employees.
• Instructs new workers in the various laundry processes and methods.
• Requisitions supplies, such as bleaches, detergents, disinfectants, soaps, and starches for the operation of the laundry.
• Keeps records of items laundered and supplies used.
• Supervises maintenance of laundry premises, machinery, and equipment.
• Discusses with administrative superiors the need for equipment and recommends the purchase of specific items.
• Performs related work as required.

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a SMU, Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Chemical), Textile/Fashion Design, Others, Hospitality/Tourism/Hotel Management or equivalent.
• Required skill(s): Laundry operation, care, maintenance of laundry equipment.
• Preferred skill(s): knowledge of proper solutions, mixing processes, and temperatures of laundry.
• Required language(s): English, Bahasa Indonesia
• Preferred language(s): Chinese.
• At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Preferably Managers specializing in Hotel Management/Tourism Services or equivalent. Job role in Management or Hotel Manager.
• 1 Full-Time positions available.
