Job Description

Laundry Attendant

The laundry attendant is responsible for cleaning of all linen, guest and crew cloths onboard of the Carnival vessel and reports directly to the Assistant Laundry Manager / Laundry Manager.

His / her responsibilities include but are not limited to the following :

* Adhere to the company standards regarding dress appearance (Carnival Look Book)
* Report for duty in a timely manner
* Follow all environmental, USPH, and SMS procedures during the course of duty
* The safe operation of laundry equipment
* Ensure that all items requiring laundering are done so as per instruction from the Assistant Laundry Manager / Laundry Manager in order to maintain the company standard
* Report all laundry equipment repair requirements to the Assistant Laundry Manager / Laundry Manager
* Operate equipment safely, and carrying out duties to their best ability
* Ensure that clothing items are not lost or stolen, and that personal effects and money found in clothing is handed over to the Laundry Manager immediately
* Attend training as scheduled by Assistant Laundry Manager / Laundry Manager
* Proper cleanliness of the Laundry / Valet room and laundry equipment
* Compliant with all safety regulations
* Proper handling and storage of chemicals
* Ensure that work hours are followed, and that duties are carried out safely and effectively

Participate in all other functions as directed by Laundry Manager & Housekeeping Manager


Qualifications :

* Male, 21 - 33 years old
* Fluency in English
* Having experience in same field
